Getting Around

Please allow me to introduce myself. I'm a newcomer to RVs, but my husband (of just over 2 years) has been driving them for many, many years. The one we have now is his 4th, my 2nd. Since July 2006, however, we have managed to hit 30 of the 50 United States, and plan to go to a bunch more next year. We don't quite full-time, since we have a house (which we call our "summer home"), but we travel about 8 months of the year. My husband is retired, and I am a writer, electronic publisher, designer and online researcher, so can work just about anywhere that has an internet connection. I have a blog about our travels,which you're welcome to visit and comment on. I also sometimes mention the trials and tribulations of trying to live a digital life on the road in my techie blog.

I'm really happy to find this network, and am looking forward to meeting other Ning RVers!

I had a $20,000 limit and they say i missed the pmt so they dropped it down to $3,800.Never have missed and been doing bussines with US bank since the 1970s...I just about told them where to go in a not so polite way...They still havent brought it back up yet.They say if my pmts stay curent they will reconsider and raise it back..BS

Havent had a sever attack in awhile tho. This is my big RACE week when my son was suppose to come and go with..Well he got as far as FRESNO,CA and his car started haveing problems.So he went back home.To find out he could have come on up.He just got a shot of bad gas. Got up here to ELMA,WA last nite and now its raining.Dont know if there going to cancel or not for 2nite,there are 2more nites here then going to hit the one down by the house on tuesday nite.Then im going on down to CHICO,CA to be at track for races on thursday,friday,saturday and leave on sunday sometime.So its been a mess. At least he can show me some tricks. Then after he leaves to go back down to san diego and i come back up from the races in calif,the next weekend im going to the PENDELTON ROUND-UP Rodeo. I havent been to that since 1988 when my second wife and me took my grandmother.Boy did we have good time,so I know it will be the same way this time as its there 100th year. I have been still takeing my short jaunts of 200-500 miles for 3-4days every week.I have nuf places to go i dont have to really go very far and it dont take a lot of those greenbacks. I have still been talking to my son alot about his camera and i wrote dwn the # now i cant find it..I think it is 5X10IS with 20pix and has 20xzoom.It has from 28mm to 500mm lens pwr.He says he can get me one on base at the px for $389 no tax..I seen one in at walmart for $398 up here at home.I think i will get it up here,that way i can start useing it before he comes up at the end of august for vacation.I have been working with my sister we have been setting up my computer with some photo files of my parents and my kids.We just put ovr 500 pictures on a flash drive.. We also set the computer so i can scan on my printer and then E mail or file or print. Between my sis and me im starting to get alittle more organized. Now all i have to do is squeeze in a little mor money so i can get the camera.I just went down and ordered window awnings for the rest of my coach.Still trying to find a 40 or 43 foot diesel i like and the pocket book to go with me.Have you got your remodeled yet?I know mine dont sit around much its going some where every week. Boy i know one thing my bad back and knees let me know when its time to slow down.There getting so bad that i cant bounce around in my 18wheeler much without them getting to me. Thats why i want a diesel for the air ride also..Well better go for now cuz my body is telling me to get up and move around.Maybe i will go over to the casino and see if i win nuf to get that new coach.iM down here at the seven feathers RV park and casino at caynonville,ore. There is only one RV dealer in the state of Oregon that sales it..No ts not camping world,fact is ther the ones who got the dealer for me and all the phone #. I found the article in the Motor Home mag that i subscribe to and went to cw to see if they had it. The lite is a replacement for your outdoor porch lite.Suppose to just take off old and put new on.The lite has a 20ft area that it pu the motion and turns it on.It also has a switch if you dont want it to. Lite sells for $99.95..I went on web and read the article to where its made and ect also. Hope Phils back gets to feeling better cuz iknow about that also...Talk to ya later

At 5:21pm on May 17th, 2009, Ron Story said…: KAT:NO,still have shirt and pants!!!I didnt even put a penney in saved all that i had.Now this weekend im up here in the mt and up the river.Got here yesterday and going to stay til some time on tuesday then head back down to the city.I had to make a run ovr to Bend on friday to swap out trks with our dvr who lives there and had to come up the river then also.The temp then was 78 and this weekend so far the high has been 87.IM staying at the BELLKNAPP hot springs resort and RV park.Its only $35 a nite with full hookups no tv,but who needs tv when the weather is so nice.I stayed here this late winter and woke up to a half inch of snow and still snowing.So you know i didnt stick around here to long.Now that day i didnt even get my morning coffee made and drank..This is that place i was telling you about that i had no cell servicde but i used that external antenna on my sierra card for my computer and get great service..Hey did i read it rite you and Phil are going to make a trip up to ALASKA here in a few?? DO you and Phil do any fishing or hunting on your travels? I like to fish and hunt but havent had much time to hunt in a long time as i have had to keep my truck moving to pay the bills and such..But i did carry my fishing pole with me and get in a little of that mostly up in MONTANA and IDAHO>>RON
